What the term means is that the dentist provides tooth colored fillings and restorations (like crowns and bridges) as opposed to only the old silver and gold dental work. The American Dental Association does not recognize cosmetic dentistry as a specialty, and really every dentist is a cosmetic dentist. Surely there are some dentists that have different skill levels and attention to details. There are many many different materials that dentists have at their disposal and new ones emerging constantly. It is important to find a dentist that makes you feel comfortable.

We are partnered with suppliers that have access to these new products and as they are proven effective, we can easily implement them into our practice.
We do not even offer silver (amalgam) fillings in our office anymore, not because they are bad or harmful, but because the newer bonding and restoration materials look and work so much better than the silver!
